Our story

From Sardinia to Scarborough

Florios pizzaiolo stretching fresh dough

Antonio Floris grew up on the island of Sardinia, cooking beside his mother from the age of seven. In 1986 he brought that Sardinian passion for food to Scarborough — and Florios has been the town's Italian family table ever since.

Voted Scarborough's Best Restaurant in 2014 and 2015, and named one of the UK's top 20 pizzerias. Three generations of diners have grown up on these pizzas.

Happy Hour, every day

From opening until 7.00pm, every single day. Recent guests tell us pizzas and pasta start at £10 before 7pm — arrive early, eat well.
